Former State Legislator and Energy Industry Leader to Advise Free Market Conservative Organization
St. Paul, MN – The Board of Directors of the Minnesota Conservative Energy Forum (MnCEF) announced today that former Minnesota State Representative Drew Christensen has been elected to its Leadership Council.
“Drew has been an incredible resource to MNCEF during his time in the Legislature and now in the private sector” said Adam Seidel, MNCEF Executive Director. His experience in the energy policy area and in leadership will be a critical key to MNCEF’s success going forward and should give conservatives confidence that this critical issue area is an opportunity for us, not a barrier to success” Seidel continued.
Christensen served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2015-2019, as a Republican member representing his hometown of Savage and part of Burnsville.
“The fact of the matter is that Conservatives and Republicans are leading the conversation on our transition to a cleaner economy, because we understand and support the leading role of the free market in that transition” Christensen said.
Christensen brings broad knowledge of the state of the energy industry, regulatory environment, technological challenges, and political climate. He is committed to driving a strong pro-clean energy, pro-free market message to his fellow conservatives.
“I’m thrilled to be supporting MNCEF in building a competitive clean energy economy. New, American-made energy technologies are poised to revolutionize how we power our future. I know MNCEF will continue to provide the public and policymakers the right ideas to unlock this brighter energy future.”
Christensen lives in Savage with his wife, Kayla, and young son, Thomas. Drew works as Public Engagement Manager at Apex Clean Energy.
