The technology is here. Decades of research and investment in newer and cleaner ways of generating electricity have finally begun to pay off. Wind, solar, and efficiency have the potential to disrupt the current regulated monopoly system. Community and individual solar projects and wind projects can begin to supplement and even replace expensive plants that are becoming obsolete. All these innovations in energy production will create new jobs and benefit consumers and manufacturers.
